something I am grateful for today

When my car battery died last night in the shocking cold, I had less than an hour to wait for the rescue truck to arrive (because I happened to be on his route to another rescue) -- the driver told me many people were waiting four or five hours (in deadly weather) for a truck... PLUS I was able to wait in my warm office till he got here. I was far luckier than many.
