something I am grateful for today
I've noticed that, ever since the house sale completely wrapped up -- signed, sealed, delivered, and paid -- I've been sleeping more soundly.
Over the last couple of years I got used to the idea of waking up a few times during the night... just long enough to crack an eye open, see that it wasn't time to get up yet, and go right back to sleep. But I never used to wake up for a peek several times a night. And now it has stopped happening and I'm sleeping right thru till mornin again.
