something I am grateful for today

Today is the solstice, and this year winter came in like a lamb.

The temperature today (and most of this week so far, actually) has been above -10°C/14°F -- around here, above -10° counts as “not actually cold”. Barely a flake fell all day. There was even sun (which was noticeable warm) coming in the car windows at one point.

I like gentle weather, especially in winter.
