something I am grateful for today
As of today I put 3000km on my car. I am grateful for reliable transportation.
That averages out to 1000km a month, or more than 30km a day. If you want to interpret that as 15km there and back [which isn't strictly accurate, I know, but just go with me here]... makes me think that there were/are times and places where the average person would never travel 15km away from home ever in their lives, let alone every day. We are definitely a culture that travels.
