something I am grateful for today
Happy memories of last night's uncommonly tasty supper from Strom's.
The corn that grows in their fields is especially blessed somehow so it's worth driving across town for. And they post signs letting you know when it was picked (in our case, less than half an hour before we bought it) -- the only way you can get fresher corn is to have your own field.
Plus they bake on site, and we picked up a strawberry rhubarb pie. The ladies of my home have been wanting to make rhubarb pie for weeks but the stores never have any -- dunno where Strom's got theirs, but it works for me!
