something I am grateful for today

an epiphany: I was out in beautiful weather, and was suddenly aware that, in that moment, this is all there was. Suddenly I carried none of my cares or thoughts with me, there was only the moment and it was a gorgeous one -- and in it I felt a strange but powerful sense of freedom.
