something I am grateful for today
Catching a break where things go swimmingly.
The car has been makin a noise for weeks now, so today I finally had a chance to take it in to the shop. What normally happens is I drop it off there in the mornin, walk to the office (about 15-20 min), wait for them to call me when it's done, and then walk over after work to pick it up. But today when I brought it in, they said "We can get started on it right now and have it done by the time you actually need to be at work!" So I just stayed there and waited for it to get fixed -- no long trudges through the snow necessary this time! How cool is that?
