something I am grateful for today

This mornin I got to see a very cute little aminal, which I think may have been a vole.

The part that isn't so great is that it was in my garage. No matter how cute any aminal might be, it does not belong in my house, sorry. Fortunately I was able to scoop it up in an empty flowerpot and escort it unharmed, back outside into the wild where it belongs -- whereupon it went waddling on its way with seemingly not a care in the world.

I definitely didn't wanna hurt him. So pretty: looked like an egg made out of thick gray velour...

I've never actually seen a vole, but I've trapped many a cute tiny creature and took them outside where they belonged. I knew they were far more scared and upset by the whole thing than I was. :)
