New eyes!

Changes to my vision happen so slowly and gradually that I don't notice them. But at my recent annual eye exam, I learned that my very-close-up vision -- like, a couple of inches away from my nose, which is where I do a lot of my fine-detail inking -- has changed. And I needed new lenses to see sharply at that close-up distance.
So I just got a new prescription for “inking glasses”, and they work great! Inking my comics has now gotten faster and easier and more precise because I can see my work much better now! I am rockin' that pen!

Cool stuff, gotta keep your eyes in shape.
I've gotta breakdown and get some new glasses, my left eye is fine, but my right one has always been a bit weaker, so it's showing it's age, while the left is still ok.

I keep thinking I might splurge for lasik, but always worry they will screw it up.

I'm pretty sure I would never go for lasik, Ron -- freaks me out too much! I'm good with glasses, especially since I only need them when I'm actually working on something specific (reading, drawing). For most day-to-day stuff I'm fine as is.
