allow me to share some good news [for a change]:

some of you may know that a production company in toronto optioned the movie rights to my Dishman series a while back... the terms of the contract require them to renew with me every year... well that year flew by because they just wrote me, saying that they are choosing to exercise their renewal option for a second year and sending me a check for $2500 [canadian]... so thats five grand now that ive "earned" merely by giving these guys permission to try and make my story into a flick... not too shabby, eh?

yay!!! That's just so cool. =) And hopefully, they'll eventually decide to make it into a story, which would mean even more money. =)

got that right, jen --- $25,000 more, to be precise, as soon as they start filming. (and if for some reason they never complete the picture i dont have to give any of it back either, nyah ha ha...)
