something I am grateful for today

I have friends I've never met.

The internet makes such things easier, but even before then [and yes, there was a before the internet] I had penpals and such... but however, at this moment I find it breathtaking that there are folx out there who've never seen me, yet they care about me to some extent.

I'm not saying I have zillions of 'em [I probably couldn't handle having zillions], but seriously, even one is something of a miracle when I think about it. More than one? Amazing bonus. That I should matter in any way to someone so far away, to someone who ought to be a stranger...

And I know that some of them are reading this, so: I do appreciate you, honest. God bless ya.
