something I am grateful for today
I was listening to Caribou by Pixies, for the first time in too many years, and my gosh it gave me chills the same way it did the first time I ever heard it [which, as it happens, was the first time I ever heard the band].
What a mysterious band. I mean, I can't think of a way to put my finger on what it is about them that makes them so good and so cool, and yet they undeniably are. So glad to have their sutff around.
