A Moment
I just had a Moment and wanted to record it here before I lose it.
We were having supper... while dishing it up, I had a brief word with Paisley, reminding her of something that made her laugh... then I sat down to eat, and thanked Sharon for making it... and started eating and it was so good... and we had music on that we really like...
And I had a flash of feeling perfectly, profoundly happy. I loved my life and wouldn't trade it for anyone's. I savoured that moment for all I was worth.
The thing is, I realize that there are things going on in my life that are less-than-perfect right now... and I could've focused on them instead if I really wanted to. But I didn't want to, and I didn't need to. I had a moment filled with good things, and I just stayed in that moment, and it was touching and wonderful.
Maybe you can see why I want to remember it.
