something I am grateful for today
Some of you will recall that one of the few still-currently-functioning bands that I am excited about is relative newcomers Sulk. Rarely a day goes by that we don't listen to Sulk, and never a week goes by that we don't listen to my entire Sulk collection. By way of further explanation, I will add that I Like Sulk's FB Page, and their singer Jon Sutcliffe is one of my FB “Friends”.
By way of even more further explanation, I will point out that, several times a week, I announce on FB (and Google Plus, and Twitter) when a new Space Kid! page goes up online. Having established all that backstory, here is the meat of my gratitude:
last night a new SK page went up, and I announced it in my social media. This morning I go onto FB and see a number of Likes on that post -- including one from a particular name, accompanied by the following comment:
“Really good :-) Peace, Jon x”
Well... when your work is liked by someone whose work you like, that is extra-swell.
