The Big Blue is one of the songs on Sulk's debut album Graceless -- I had preordered the album and therefore received it as soon as it was released in April 2013. (The song was also released as a single the following month.) Since that time, I have listened to it pretty near every day, actively and attentively and with undiminished joy.
It is no overstatement to say that I love this song. It helps me celebrate when I am happy, and it soothes and comforts me when I am in pain. Like almost all of their songs, it is a song that feels like my friend.
I still listen to other songs, I genuinely love other songs... but, for whatever the reason might be, this is the one that I choose to be a part of my life in this way.
