something I am grateful for today

johncomicLast night/this mornin is time to put out garbage in my neighbourhood. I admit, I have a tendency to grumble to myself about having to gather it up and take it to the curb, but really:
how easy is that? Ya put it in bags, drop it outside, and that's it, yer done. You can just forget about it, it's someone else's problem now, guys come and take it away and take care of it for you. We are so lucky to have such a great service available to us in our society, and I've seen how people suffer when it doesn't happen. How do people manage in societies without garbagemen?
