i expect a back-pat for this

okay, im up and about after a couple of days spent in bed, living on soda crackers and diet ginger ale

it started on monday, where i found myself excusing myself from the office more and more often as the day wore on, getting worse every time... but monday was also sharon's birthday, so i took her (and the kids) out for supper [excusing myself from the table when necessary], got her a cake, served it with the singing-and-candles thing and prezzies [excusing myself when necessary]... basically all the sutff we woulda normally done that evening got done, after which i collapsed for the aforementioned two-day period of fluuuuuuuuuuuu....

so i did it. i came thru. i da man.
