something I am grateful for today

Our weather.

Today, after several unusually nice days, it's supposed to rain for a few. Instead of complaining about the rain as I often do, I choose to be grateful for it.

I remember a couple [only a couple] of times when we've experienced long dry spells here. How the plants suffered and everyone eventually got anxious. Normally we get rain every now and then, and my environment is better for it. So it's good that it rains sometimes.

If I get caught in it, I might feel differently for a few minutes, but that doesn't really count, in the larger scheme of things.
