something I am grateful for today

With all the ongoing southern discussion about health care, I will state here for the record that I am grateful for our provincial health care system. Granted it's nowhere near perfect (case in point: its inability to conjure up a miracle and provide a badly-needed transplant for my critically ill cousin), but I can't imagine how we'd be any better off without it.
