something I am grateful for today
Sep. 16th, 2009 10:12 amOn our way to work this mornin (yes, I'm on the mend and back at the office today), we saw an unusual cloud formation. It must've been far away, extremely long, and rather tall, so that it looked like a solid mass resting on (and peering up over) the horizon. So the effect was a view of a far-off, very snowy mountain range. Gorgeous.
We don't actually have any mountain vistas to see in our region, so this optical illusion was a special treat. I'm sure that, if I ever did live near real mountains, I would never get tired of seeing them.
