something I am grateful for today

Got a spanking new bank card to replace my old one, which was starting to split right down the magnetic stripe so its days were obviously numbered.

They tell me the new card even has a chip! They said nothing about what kind of chip and I didn't ask, but in general I love chips so I guess this has to be a good thing.

Worst: “Tell the truth about what you really want. The universe will honor your intentions and align itself to help bring it about. And others will appreciate your honesty.” I followed it even though my rational brain told me not to, but my gut intuition told me to go ahead. It could've turned out somewhat worse, but how it did turn out could not remotely be called “good”.
