something I am grateful for today

I feel much less sore this mornin than I expected. Last night I felt a bit like someone had taken a two-by-four upside my face, which was more or less how I assumed it would be after having deep dental work done. But the ache has subsided surprisingly by now, so I figure that's a good thing.

This mornin I fell in love with “Chewing Gum Weekend” by The Charlatans. I've heard it a number of times before, owned the CD for years, but today it was like somehow this is the first time I really listened and now I think it's great. If my life were an old movie, today is when that song let its hair down and took its glasses off.
