something I am grateful for today

Often when I get a cold, the accompanying cough prevents me from lying down -- when I get horizontal the cough kicks into high gear, I guess because my throat doesn't drain properly or something. And since I have to sleep propped in a half-sitting-up position, I don't sleep very well.

Anyway, I mentioned earlier that I caught one this past Sunday. This week I have managed to sleep lying down every night so far, so I am getting better rest with this cold than I usually do. I bet that is helping me to fight it off better too.
