something I am grateful for today

On our way to work this mornin, Sharon saw six deer! A bunch of five off in a group of trees, and then one wading in the river near the bridge we drove over.

Regrettably I myself was unable to see any of them, as I had my eyes on the [busy] road the whole time; but it's still swell just to be there and know that it happened. Spotting any deer on our route is rare enough as it is, but so many in one trip is unprecedented! We love aminal sightings!
