something I am grateful for today

Payday!

I remain intensely thankful that I am gainfully employed and have a steady dependable source of income. It has allowed me to build a life far different (and better) than the one I had when I was chronically out of work (days I have never forgotten).

Any of my earlier plans to earn a living via some form of freelancing, failed to take into account that I am temperamentally deeply unsuited to such a life.
