Do you think celebrities deserve as much recognition, attention, and money as we, as a society, give them?

Absolutely not.

What do you think it says about our cultural values?

That they are seriously warped. On the other hand, I recognize that the Powers That Be willingly promulgate this warping, because star worship is A) a good source of revenue and B) good “bread and circuses”.

something I am grateful for today

Was able to get the new Scott Pilgrim on the same day it was offically released. Been a long time since I even bothered to try and do such a thing -- it's fun that it worked!
