something I am grateful for today

I was sitting on our back deck, enjoying the lovely mornin, when a real live hummingbird came by and hovered around the plants a few feet away from me. Hummingbirds are relatively rare around here, and this is the closest I've ever been to one -- I could actually hear its wings for the first time.
