something I am grateful for today

This mornin we met with our lawyer to sign the paperwork for the offer on our house. The buyers have already signed, so that's it. The house is sold!

(Officially the papers say that the buyers have until Monday to meet certain conditions in order for the deal to be done, but they have already told us that all conditions have been met -- apparently including the mention of those conditions in the paper is a formality.)
