something I am grateful for today

My boss is leaving our office for new (and better-paying) pastures. She is far and away the best boss I ever had -- my current job is the first one I have ever actively liked, as opposed to thinking that it's “okay, as far as jobs go”. And she is a big part of why I feel that way about it. Whether or not her replacement can maintain that good feeling around here, we will miss her terribly.

I am grateful to have had the last several years with her, to have had the opportunity to like my job, and of course I wish her only the best.
