something I am grateful for today

Last night they were calling for up to 4” of snow overnight, meaning I would need to get up early and shovel in order to get the car out. Factor in that we also needed to leave about 45 minutes earlier than usual today, that meant an extra-early and strenuous mornin for me.

Woke up about half an hour later than I shoulda, under the circumstances, went to the front door... and saw that our 4” was in fact zero. No snow happened at all. So I took it easy and slow getting ready instead.

Granted, it started to snow just as we were leaving the house, but that's okay -- it's the delay in its arrival that I really appreciate!
