something I am grateful for today

Clarification #1: that's 10,000 kilometers. This is Canada, eh?
Clarification #2: that's 10,000 that we've put on the car since we bought it. The actual reading is 70,152 -- FWIW.
Clarification #3: the odometer is the thing in your car that measures how far the car has travelled. It has nothing to do with how the car smells.
So far it's been a pretty nice, pretty good little car and a pleasure to use. Mind you, there was that one week-ish where, within eight days we had two visits from trucks as first the battery and then the alternator died. But otherwise...
