something I am grateful for today

Today is doubly special for me: it's Easter (one of my fave holidays) and also my parents' anniversary -- if Dad were still here, they would've been married sixty-two years. (Hard to believe he's been gone five years now...)

Huh.

PostSecret has just alerted me to the existence of this blog, which has probably been mentioned a zillion times before in a zillion different places... but today is when it sunk in and I noticed.

It appears that what this guy is doing is much like my gratitude posts here, only with far superior execution. I would much rather read this guy than read me.

That being said, I will continue on in my little corner nonetheless, reminded once again of a Deep Truth®:
