something I am grateful for today

The Friday the 13th biker gatherings in Port Dover. Every Friday the 13th, bikers from all around the world gather at Port Dover for the day, be it July or January, without fail.

I enjoy the fact that such a cultural milestone can arise so arbitrarily and persist so long. I also think it's good that the bikers have something that can unite them this way (especially something legal). ;)

But, I admit, I'm also grateful that they congregate in Dover and not Guelph. I don't deal well with fuss, and there would be so much of it...

Why has LJ suddenly decided today that HTML tags in the “Current Music” line should now be ignored and treated like plain text? All my old entries look wonky now!!
