something I am grateful for today
Sep. 21st, 2012 10:29 amThat I have been able to push my artistic momentum a bit and keep it going. (Sorry if it's becoming tedious for you hearing about the same sutff so many times in a row, but this area matters to me.)
Between last night and early this mornin, I finished that last page I was talking about yesterday and managed to complete the pencils on my next page! (Because it was, once again, a comparatively simple page.**) So that means tonight can ideally be a re-run of “do the penwork and let it dry overnight” -- there will be a lot of Pigma work to do on it tomorrow mornin, but I still expect to have the page complete and posted by tomorrow night, so that'll make two full pages in a week. Pretty good compared to the last coupla months!
** - and in case any of you are wondering: no, the answer isn't to “make all the pages simple in order to get them drawn faster”. That would be short-changing the work. A page is simple or complex to draw as the story requires. At least that's how it works for me.
