something I am grateful for today

Several times lately I have made more of an attempt to be open with people. To not guard my heart or hide my feelings quite so thoroughly, quite so consistently. I have taken a few chances [albeit small ones, granted]. And there's always a part of me that worries that doing so will blow up in my face, or come back to bite me in the bum, or whatever...

This mornin I am grateful that nothing bad has happened so far.
