That I learned how to appreciate the rarefied pleasures of avant garde jazz -- it's cool in ways that nothing else* is.

[I realize full well that not everyone is grateful that I learned to appreciate it, though... :P ]




* well, except maybe for some “contemporary classical/serious” music that sonically overlaps it in Venn-diagram fashion...
