johncomicbut im curious about how often would you say you are misunderstood? as in, you say something and someone takes it the wrong way?
cuz when i think about it, i realize it happens to me a lot. and i dunno if its because im stupid or dont express myself clearly [i always figured my spiffo vocabulary would make me an excellent and pellucid communicator, but sometimes it accomplishes just the opposite].... or is it that im blind/deaf to connotation, and im saying things that carry subtle über-meanings but i dont know it... or do i think clockwise and other people think counterclockwise... or im clueless cuz im a guy... i dunno, it could be anything, i guess... but the bottom line is i often end up feeling like a prime doofus, and i get the feeling that it ought to be happening less than it does...
so, am i wrong? is it actually pretty usual to feel this way and im just going thru something everyone does? or am i truly a chronic foot-in-mouth-azoid?
