i heard the news today oh boy

On this morning's news, I heard that this past Sunday saw the passing of one of the titans of our age... I speak of course of one of history's best-known voice actors, Thurl Ravenscroft. Some of you will already know that I am a long-time fan of Mr. Ravenscroft's oeuvre and hence sobered by this news.

Granted, he had a long full life [aged 91 when he died], but even so, this is truly the end of an era. At least for some of us...
