something I am grateful for today

In the last two nights, the temperature has gone down low enough that we turned the AC off and opened the windows. In fact, yesterday the windows stayed open and the AC stayed off all day. After what feels like two solid weeks of AC with the house blocked up against the oppressive air, this seems like a treat.
Yes, of course I'm grateful for our AC in the first place. But I always admit, when God runs His AC, that's always nicer than ours.
(Plus, since hydro rates went up this summer but we have yet to see by exactly how much, those two solid weeks of AC could represent a nasty kick in the wallet. Please keep the heat down, Lord, and save me some money!) :P
