You know Cyndi Lauper and you know a lot of jazz, for example. Therefore, it's hard for me to predict in advance which references you're familiar with and which ones you aren't. So I keep trying and hope for the best.”

I finally got to see all the Christopher Eccleston episodes of Doctor Who. Terrific fun with my family.

Okay, so last night was when I saw the season finale of Weeds. And so now, every single effin member of Nancy's family is in their own separate predicament, all calculated to make her life hellish, plus she herself is caught in The All-Time biggest and ass-est of Big-Ass Cliffhangers®.

So now I'm sad and cliff-hung... and I get to stay that way for a year.
