Lately I've been listening to a fair bit of classic British shoegaze, and I gotta admit: I get an inordinate kick out of some of the album covers, that seem to be photographs, but it isn't at all clear to me what they're photographs of:





Then there's this one, which I eventually recognized but I'm still amazed at how long it took me to see it for what it was (maybe it's cuz I don't own one myself?):
