something I am grateful for today

This mornin I enjoyed a period of selfish quasi-luxury: today, while getting myself ready, I was responsible for no one else, I was not waiting on anyone else, everything I did was just for me*. Which translates into a more relaxed and leisurely getting ready for work than usual. So I tried to be mindful of every moment and every task and kinda wallow in it.

Moreover than that [as one of my profs used to say], my first destination after leaving the house was a massage appt that ended up being even better than usual. So now you've got yer wallowing and yer pampering goin down today -- not bad!



* one small exception: I still made Hunter's lunch as per usual
