THE WHOLE OFFICE IS SHAKING!!

Earth-moving equipment is digging up the parking lot just outside my little window. I can feel the tremors in the floor and see them in my monitor. When I answer the phone I can't hear the caller. I can't hear my CD player even though it's playing something quite swell.

This sucks.

Try thinking about those poor folks with offices overlooking the Central Artery in downtown Boston while all that stuff was being torn down during the Big Dig.

I wasn't one of them, mind you, but I know people who had to live with basically what you're living with for about 18 months.
