something I am grateful for today

I am grateful that I was enough on the ball to swerve and avoid the flickhead who suddenly pulled out right in front of me this morning. (And there was no one next to me who mighta got sideswiped or banged when I did my swerve, cuz I didn't have time to check first.)

So, just today I hear that Bill Clinton has gone to North Korea to talk with Kim Jong-Il about getting those two arrested reporters released... and now I hear that it worked! They're free!

I'll be honest, I never expected this to work. Kim Jong-Il hasn't built much of a reputation for himself as a guy who listens to reason or grants kindnesses, y'know?
