something I am grateful for today

For the first little while after Daylight Savings Time goes away, the sun is coming up when it's time for me to get up for work, just like in the summer. We've lately had several weeks of me having to get up in total nighttime conditions, so I appreciate the return to a human schedule for awhile. I realize that, come December, I'll be getting up in the night again for several months, so I'm enjoying this early mornin light now while I can.

Suddenly occurred to me that I haven't listened to Monk in many yonks, maybe more than a year. What's wrong with me?! Monk has been one of my faves and heroes for decades. It can't be good for my soul to go so long without a Monk fix. Rectifying that forthwith!
