something I am grateful for today

My eyes.

On the way into work today I suddenly noticed how many nice things there were to see: nothing unusual, just sutff like trees and the variegated sky and expanses of snow and a couple of birds.... but it was all beautiful, and I thought of how much I'd miss out on if I wasn't able to see everything.

Granted, they need help now to see fine print and whatnot, but in general I still think my eyes are pretty great things.
