something I am grateful for today

Last night we were looking at old photos and the experience is staying with me now. So many pix of the kids when they were little and cute. [Today they're not so much “cute” as “beautiful” and “handsome”, respectively. ;) ]

I was/am so lucky to have so much time with such great cute little kids. I realize that one tends to not remember the tough parts and yes I know that there were many of those. And I also realize that there were times when I didn't act like I was aware of what a treasure they are. But in general, overall, I think I've always appreciated my kids and I enjoyed their childhoods while I could, as much as I could.

Yeah, I'm just yer stereotypical Fond Soppy Dad, but I am totally okay with that.
