something I am grateful for today

Page 5 is pencilled and ready to ink! This one is kind of a biggie cuz it's the first time my hero is seen, so I wanted his first appearance to look good so he'll make a good first impression. I think that turned out reasonably well. Time (and the pen) will tell!

quasi-apology

Looking back, I can see an appreciable amount of sameness and repetition in what I post here. If this bothers you, I hope I can be forgiven and I thank you for your forbearance inasmuch as you are still here.

But it occurs to me now that this is how I like things. I like a quiet uneventful life. I dislike surprises and disruptions of my routines. (Not everyone agrees with me, of course, but that's what makes horse races.) I try to keep my life on an even keel, and this blog, as a reflection of that life, reflects that too.

Your understanding (and appreciation of subtle mundanities) is always appreciated.
