something I am grateful for today

Today is quite lovely: the sky is clear and blue, the grass is still green, some of the trees are still displaying their new colours [not every leaf has reached the ground yet!], and as long as one wears a reasonable jacket the air feels refreshing rather than cold.
It doesn't have to be summer to feel pleasing outside.
