something I am grateful for today
Apr. 10th, 2012 10:04 amAlong our preferred route to work in the mornin, there was a large patch of woods where we sometimes saw deer. A while back they razed most of that forest to the dirt in preparation for a new housing development, leaving only a skeletal fringe of trees around the perimeter. We figured that should scare the deer away permanently.
For reasons unknown to us, there has been no human activity in that razed area for a couple of months. And this mornin as we went past, grazing in the fringe of trees there was a young deer!
